2 Month Check In
I called the agency yesterday just to check in. We've been waiting 10 weeks. They said our exposure for May was great and we are off to a great start for June. Our profile went out 20 times in May. I asked if we needed to make any changes or raise our budget and she said no because we are getting good exposure AND they are getting good feedback on our profile! Exciting. Our agency has also completed 54 adoptions since we joined 10 weeks ago! Plus, they have around 50 families already in matches. So, that gave me the boost I needed and I'm feeling good about our progress.

ReplyDeleteAverage wait time is 1-9 months. Our agency is American Adoptions.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that you feel as if you are making progress. As you know, the waiting is torture. I think it is a great sign that your profile has had such good exposure and good feedback. Hopefully you will be posting soon that you agency has had 51 matches and yours was the 51st!
