We had our 2nd post placement visit last night. Only one more and we can move to finalization! Yay to giant tax credit.
The visit went really well. We covered the same types of things as we did in the first meeting. It was pretty much what has happened in the last month, milestones met, sleeping, feeding, Dr visits, etc. Avalyn was very well behaved! No crying.

ReplyDeleteawesome! So you can't write off any of the adoption costs this year if you don't finalize?? I have a friend who signed up for an adoption agency and is waiting to be placed...and expects to be able to write off what they have spent this year thus far. Can she not do that?
ReplyDeleteShe can not take the adoption credit until the adoption is finalized. If there has been a disruption, then yes you could take a credit for the expenses lost.
